Maxine adopts red here, with the same construction: silver loops slid onto each handle to adjust the length, a straight rectangular base in grained faux leather, a zipper running the full width, and a firm structure that stands upright without ever collapsing to the side. The laptop slides to one side, the courses or folders to the other, and the zipper keeps everything in place during the commute, between rooms, between meetings. Depending on how it is loaded, the handles extend a notch to switch from hand carry to shoulder carry without needing to change bags.

Daily load and use. Overloading a bag puts more strain on its seams and closures. Regularly sorting its contents will prolong its lifespan.
Friction and color transfer. Dark jeans or clothing can transfer color to lighter materials through prolonged friction, and vice versa. Simple care while dressing can prevent this.
