Bianca starts with a detail that you might not notice right away: the silver loops at the base of the handles are not decorative; they loosen by one notch, like on a belt, to lengthen or shorten the carry depending on what the bag is transporting that day. Khaki grained faux leather, trapezoidal silhouette with gently flared sides, discreet Flora & Co logo plate on the front, a free ring at each base also allows for a shoulder strap to slide on if your hands need to be free. This is an adjustment more commonly found on an evening handbag than on a tote of this size, and it makes all the difference once the bag is loaded with a laptop and weekly notes: the length that seemed just right in the morning may not be once the bag is full, and this is precisely what we adjust here without thinking, between two rooms or two meetings.

Heat and light. Faux leather is sensitive to high temperatures. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, radiators, or inside a car: the material may crack or lose its shine.
Contact with water. Light rain won't damage it. In case of heavier rain, gently blot the moisture with a dry cloth and let it air dry, away from any heat source.
Perfumes and cosmetics. The alcohol and oils they contain can dull the material and metallic finishes. A simple rule: spray perfume before handling your bag, never directly on it.
Daily load and use. Overloading a bag puts more strain on its seams and closures. Regularly sorting its contents will prolong its lifespan.
Friction and color transfer. Dark jeans or clothing can transfer color to lighter materials through prolonged friction, and vice versa. Simple care while dressing can prevent this.
Suede effect finish. A gentle and regular dry brushing maintains the texture. Water, on the other hand, can leave lasting marks, so it's best to keep it away from moisture.
