Barnabé est un ourson en peluche bouclée beige, habillé d'un pull tricoté à motif vert et noir. Il est accompagné d'une mini raquette de tennis argentée, d'une balle de tennis et d'un petit burger.
Il s'accroche à l'anse d'un sac, à la sangle d'un sac à dos ou à un trousseau grâce à son mousqueton cœur noir. L'ourson peut aussi se détacher seul grâce à son mousqueton à pince. Sur un cartable, il aide un enfant à reconnaître son sac.
